My name is JR and I have loved Ferrari automobiles since I was 15 years old. I grew up in Ft. Worth Texas and a high school friends father owned a BB512 and a 400i. Out on the town one night in the Ferrari is all it took.
As I have grown in my businesses I have always used a Ferrari acquisition as a financial goal. I own a 400i and a 360 Spider. I have my eye on a Ferrari 599 but am waiting for the price to come down just a little more.
I built Ferrarinet with the help of VK who is a programmer and CIO of my businesses. My goal is that it becomes another resource for Ferrari Owners and Ferrari fans. In addition to Ferrarinet.com I think Ferrari Chat is another great resource to obtain information about Ferrari. Thay can be found at www.ferrarichat.com

Ralph Lauren (Polo), Chris Evans (Just Rich) and Nick Mason (Pink Floyd Drummer) are all owners of the much covented Ferrari 250 GTO. There were only 39 of these incredibly rare examples made and the original 39 owners had to be personally approved by Enzo Ferrari. The car was originally produced in 1962 and 1963 with 36 being made. In 1964 3 "Series II GTO's" were manufactured to get to the total of 39.
These cars rarely are available which is why record money is often…

The man behind Zagato Coach Builders was Ugo Zagato, and started his career with Alfa Romeo. Enzo Ferrari also worked for Alfa Romeo, first as a race driver and then later as head of the racing team.
Zagato’s talent lay in metalwork, and he designed and constructed many of the delightful bodies seen on Alfas at this time. When Ferrari went back to Modena in 1939, after his departure from Alfa, he and Zagato didn’t see each other for almost a decade. As Ferrari grew their…

To be able to buy and collect what one is truly passionate about must be an incredible feeling. There are several world class collectors and this is the first in a 52 series of blogs that I will find the world's greatest car collectors. Of course there is one variable that great collectors have, Ferrari is the passion that drives it all. So my hat is off to the cool 52.
My first Entry is gazzilionaire investor Jim…

The latest Ferrari to come is the FF model which will replace the 612 Scaglietti. In some ways it looks like a BMW Z3's big brother on sterroids.
FF is an acronym for Ferrari Four, which denoted four seats and four-wheel drive. The new model is Ferrari’s first all-wheel-drive production road car and the company calls it “a decisive break with the past.” The FF was designed by Pininfarina and has a big 12-cylinder engine under the hood and carbon-ceramic brakes. The company…
