Ralph Lauren (Polo), Chris Evans (Just Rich) and Nick Mason (Pink Floyd Drummer) are all owners of the much covented Ferrari 250 GTO. There were only 39 of these incredibly rare examples made and the original 39 owners had to be personally approved by Enzo Ferrari. The car was originally produced in 1962 and 1963 with 36 being made. In 1964 3 "Series II GTO's" were manufactured to get to the total of 39.
These cars rarely are available which is why record money is often…

The man behind Zagato Coach Builders was Ugo Zagato, and started his career with Alfa Romeo. Enzo Ferrari also worked for Alfa Romeo, first as a race driver and then later as head of the racing team.
Zagato’s talent lay in metalwork, and he designed and constructed many of the delightful bodies seen on Alfas at this time. When Ferrari went back to Modena in 1939, after his departure from Alfa, he and Zagato didn’t see each other for almost a decade. As Ferrari grew their…

The latest Ferrari to come is the FF model which will replace the 612 Scaglietti. In some ways it looks like a BMW Z3's big brother on sterroids.
FF is an acronym for Ferrari Four, which denoted four seats and four-wheel drive. The new model is Ferrari’s first all-wheel-drive production road car and the company calls it “a decisive break with the past.” The FF was designed by Pininfarina and has a big 12-cylinder engine under the hood and carbon-ceramic brakes. The company…

The story on this nut job, Jeff Sabold, is that he called 911 around 3:30 am and said that he was scared, lost and stranded on a railroad track crossing. When the operator realized this he was on railroad tracks and had no idea where he was to get out of the vehicle immediately. He managed to get to safety moments before his Ferrari was struck by a train traveling 40 miles per hour.
Sabold, 48, lives in Carrollton, a suburb of Dallas and he thought he was in Mansfield, south of Fort…

To mark Pininfarina’s 80th anniversary, Ferrari is offering a super-exclusive supercar called the SA Aperta.
Just 80 will roll out of Maranello, and every last one of them already has been sold. The car, named for Sergio and Andrea Pininfarina, is based on the 599, but Ferrari stiffened the chassis to account for the open top.…

Ferrari does it again at the Geneva Motor show by rolling out the new V12 Fiorano, the 599 GTB Fiorano with HGTE (Handling GT Evoluzione) package. Ferrari has always been associated with the V12 engine with great success in racing with the Testa Rossa and the immortal 250 GTO.
The Fiorano is not a light car but Ferrari says that the 599 GTB Fiorano equipped with the new HGTE Package will be a much more “sporty,…

Yes, I am a Ferrari Freak and me and the V are planning on putting a collection together one day. Just sell more and you never know this baby might be in your garage. The car is based on the 599 GTB Fiorano. Ferrari put the motor, batteries and related electronics as low as possible in the car to keep the center of gravity low and preserve interior space. It appears to…
