Club 52, The Worlds 52 Greates Car Collectors. (Ferrari, Ferrari, Ferrari)

To be able to buy and collect what one is truly passionate about must be an incredible feeling.  There are several world class collectors and this is the first in a 52 series of blogs that I will find the world's greatest car collectors.  Of course there is one variable that great collectors have, Ferrari is the passion that drives it all.  So my hat is off to the cool 52.

My first Entry is gazzilionaire investor Jim Glickenhaus.  who is CEO of the investment firm Glickenhaus & Co. Prior to running his investment firm he wrote, directed and produced a number of films in the 1980s and 1990s.

Unfortunately, I do not know Jim Glickenhaus but it has been reported he owns a 1947 Ferrari 166 Spyder Corsa, a trio of ’67s, Dino Competizione, a P3/4 (#0846)and a 412 P (#0854) and then there is the Big Daddy P4/5

The story goes that Glickenhaus went to Pininfarina after he he purchased the last Ferrari ‘Enzo’ in existence and told them to redesign the Enzo in a style similar to his 1967 Ferrari 330 P 3/4. It is rumored between the cost of the Enzo combined with over 200 modified improvement Glickenhaus has close to $6 million invested.
