To mark Pininfarina’s 80th anniversary, Ferrari is offering a super-exclusive supercar called the SA Aperta.
Just 80 will roll out of Maranello, and every last one of them already has been sold. The car, named for Sergio and Andrea Pininfarina, is based on the 599, but Ferrari stiffened the chassis to account for the open top. Under the hood you’ll find the V12 from the 599; it’s good for 620 horsepower. Ferrari didn’t offer any specs for the SA, but the 599 does zero to 100 km/hr in 3.7 seconds and exceeds 205 mph. It isn’t clear if the drivetrain is from the 599 GTB Fiorano or 599 GTO.
Ferrari pulled a similar trick last year when it built the one-off P540 Superfast Aperta.
